We have unique programs for people struggling with addiction.

We also treat mental health issues and eating disorders.

Our facilities are pet-friendly, couples friendly, and we use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in all of our approaches.

Here is an in-depth look at some of the rehab services offered by Opus Health

Detoxification

The detox stage of drug and alcohol treatment is the first step towards a full recovery.

A fast and effective way to get free from alcohol and drug addiction is to cleanse your body of toxins.

Medically supported detox is the best way to cope with a wide range of withdrawal symptoms such as agitation, nausea, anxiety, racing heart, extreme tiredness, and even seizures.

Medically supported detox & withdrawal management program is designed to help individuals achieve optimal outcomes when facing dependence.

We help diagnose and treat substance/medication withdrawal, drug tolerance issues related to pain, and mental health.

Withdrawal management services are usually provided during inpatient care up to five days before joining the rehab program.

Most people find that medical support makes it easier to manage withdrawal symptoms during detox.

Detox Treatment has two Aspects

  1. Educate patients about how to stay off drugs and alcohol
  2. Actively treat them for their dependence using a medical detox program that combines medication with rehab therapy

Medically supported detox ensures that clients are in a compassionate detox environment.

Their physical, mental and psychological status will be monitored and maintained at all times during the withdrawal process.

Medically assisted alcohol and drug detox programs at Opus Health can help you on your journey to full recovery.

Women’s Rehab

Women have unique needs when seeking drug and alcohol addiction treatment.

They have different reasons for using drugs, react to treatment differently, recover from drug abuse differently, and relapse at different rates.

Individualized treatment is the keystone of recovery from a substance use disorder.

Women respond to treatment differently than men.

Residential treatment at our facility in beautiful Costa Mesa, California, provides a safe and comfortable environment that struggling individuals may hope to find.

This allows our patients to identify the root causes of their addiction and comfortably start their healing process.

There is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment. As a result, we strive to meet each of our patients on their level.

The evidence-based methods at our clinic are designed to focus on each patient’s specific conditions, hopes, and goals.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Opus Health offers Dual Diagnosis treatment. Also known as co-occurring disorders, this is an occurrence that combines addiction with a mental illness.

The recognized forms of dual diagnosis include:

  • substance use disorders (drug and alcohol)
  • major depressive disorder
  • bipolar disorder
  • anxiety disorders
  • post traumatic stress disorder
  • pathological gambling
  • eating disorders
  • sexual disorders (paraphiliacs)
  • antisocial personality disorder
  • substance use disorders
  • mood disorders
  • schizophrenia spectrum disorders
  • eating disorders

At Opus Health, we use dual diagnosis treatment programs to help you treat your mental health disorder while also treating substance abuse issues which only make your underlying disorders worse.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a type of treatment where medications are utilized in addition to behavioral therapy to treat your symptoms, while simultaneously tapering you down in doses from substances you’re dependent on.

IV

The two most common types of medications used in MAT are opioid agonists and antagonist medications.

An opioid agonist medication facilitates the effects of an opioid and helps lessen the potential for abuse.

An antagonist works by blocking the effects of opioids which can prevent withdrawal symptoms if an opiate has been administered.

Common medications used include:

  • Buprenorphine
  • Methadone
  • Naltrexone
  • Vivitrol®

All these FDA-approved medications target the same disease as opioids but without causing an opioid high.

MAT can work for the treatment of both acute opioid use disorders and opioid maintenance.

Combining medications that alleviate cravings and withdrawal symptoms help people stabilize their lives and being living healthier lifestyles.

Residential Rehabilitation

Residential treatment programs create an environment that provides therapeutic services.

The idea behind the residential rehab is that by taking the person away from their usual daily surroundings, they are most likely to make positive changes to their lives.

When one leaves residential treatment, they may find it challenging to apply what they learned while they were in treatment.

Residential treatment is a step up from outpatient therapy.

This is where you live among other patients in a sober living environment.

As well as follow a treatment plan designed around the individual needs of each resident.

Evidence-Based Treatment

Through all the rehab services offered by Opus Health, our holistic approach towards treatment allows us to treat the whole person and restore balance to the body and mind of each person.

We customize each treatment program according to each individual’s unique needs. Additionally, we also encourage each client to maintain that individuality in their care.

If you, or someone you know, are looking for a medically assisted treatment to get over their addiction and ease the symptoms of withdrawal, contact Opus Health today.

We can set you up with a treatment plan to put you on track for success.
